Competitive rules
Here are the Competitive rules of Duelbooks, which apply across all Events & Tournaments.
The competitive side of Duelbooks is played in its Emblematic Mode.
The Emblematic Mode of Duelbooks is exactly the same as the regular game, except for the difference that each player starts the game with an Emblem on them, what is a skill-based bookmark.
Here are all the Emblems available:
To compete in a tournament you will need to bring at least one Duelbook and one Emblem.
Does this mean you cannot carry more than one book and one emblem? No. You can carry as many Duelbooks and Emblems as you like, and you will be able to change them each round. The larger your combat arsenal, the better resources you will have to face your next opponent.
Competitive Duelbooks is played at best of a match.
Before beginning, Players secretly choose a Duelbook. Then they reveal them at the same time. This avoids any possibility of deliberately choosing books that counteract others.
The pairings are They draw in the first round. In the following rounds, players are paired based on their wins. For example, those who are 1-0 will play against each other.
