Well, distorting means you're going to tear pages out of your own book to buy \u23f3 and gain some sort of advantage<\/strong> with skills that benefit from doing this.<\/p>\n

Right, brilliant.<\/p>\n

But. But. Butrrrrrrr.<\/p>\n

And what does all this translate to in a game?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

It translates to you might be buggered for the first few shifts<\/strong> until you manage to distort several of your pages.<\/p>\n

I mean.
\nI mean.
\nI mean.<\/p>\n

What You will have to defend yourself well during the first few turns<\/strong> of the match and prioritise selecting pages with low \u2764\ufe0f costs to survive until the amount of \u23f3 you get is decisive and generates combos with your pages...<\/p>\n

... or until the small advantages you've been gaining tip the balance<\/strong> in your favour.<\/p>\n

If you distort it, destroy it and gain \u23f3. Afterwards, you can pay \u23f3 to give it +1 power that same clash. Not to be sneezed at, a page with 7 power for only \u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f that also has evade... [Wait, \"vuela\" translates to \"flies\", but in the context of Ruina\/Project Moon, it's usually \"evade\" or \"flies\" depending on the exact mechanic, but \"flies\" is the literal translation for Flight\/Fly]. Let's stick to literal: ...and on top of that it flies...<\/p>\n

You'll do quite a bit of damage in that fight.<\/strong><\/p>\n
